Tonight's training call was hosted by Arlene Gregory.

• October 31 was the 7th biggest sales day in company history. People are buying! The average party this year is $437 compared to last year this is $50 higher!
• Let people know the money they can earn with H&GP. Get the word out to those that need a job.Contact designers that put H&GP on the back burner and get them excited about the money we can make and all the changes the company has made.

• Congrats to all!
• Cathleen says Terry's challenged helped her succeed. She got on the phone and shared the specials.
• Schedule parties for January
• Alverna - those that say NO - you must ask is that no not now, or no not ever. When she says no not now, you ask permission to call her in mid December/right after Christmas to her to schedule a January party with her.
• November Specials - hostesses with a $350 party get the Christmas Treasures Santa FREE as well as with a $500 party - the Santa and 30% hostess credits!!
• H&GP has expanded the 2 booking gifts to include the Snow Angel Print and the Whimsical Tree as well.
• The price of the Heart Pin has been dropped to $15 and H&GP will donate $5 to the ACS per pin sold.
• December - Launch Contest - earn 3 levels of prizes ( see link on the right hand side of this page for more details - it will be posted by the end of this week if not there yet.)
• December Sales flyer will be available beginning Black Friday and run until Jan 31, 2008.
• All designers that have placed a qualified party since May 16, 2007, will receive a December Sales Flyer included in the Spring/Summer catalog that will begin mailing on November 21
• January is the Stack the Hostess Sale - 20% hostess benefits with a $200-$349.99 party, 30% hostess benefits with a $350 - $499.99 party and 35% hostess benefits with a $500 and up party!!
• Important dates to remember

11/12 - Spring kits, supplies and master price list will be posted on the designer website

11/16-25 - Designers can order CASE packs of Spring/Summer catalogs and Party Preview Mailers (cases only)

11/26 - The above case packs will begin shipping

11/21 - all designers that have had a qualified party since May 16, will receive in the mail, a Spring/Summer 2008 Catalog, party preview mailer, opportunity brochure and the December sales flyer.

11/30 - 1st day to order Spring 2008 Kits

12/3 - New supplies go on sale for designers

12/3-13 - All designers can order 1 each of the 6 Product Specials Kits that are retailed valued at $139

12/4 - Begin shipping new designer kits for Spring/Summer 2008

12/5 - Begin shipping New supplies and special product kits

12/15 - 1st day to order out of the 2008 Spring/Summer catalog

• Arlene prize drawing winners for tonight's call - Laurie Fischer, Miriam Stoltzfus, Cathleen Wadel!
• Alverna sharing - She is so excited about how healthy our company is. 3 designers in the company sold $20,000 in 30 days, making $8,000; 12 designers sold $15,000 making $6,000; 281 sold $5,000! People are BUYING!
• Vicki Holley (in the whole Winand downline) was #1 last month selling $15,981! She did 19 inhome parties and the rest catalog shows. She works her business Monday thru Thursday!
• We have a lot to offer and our attitudes will take us far in our business. Get on the phone and book those parties.
• Baltimore meeting, January 12 - plan to be there - you can sign up on the designer website NOW. There will be a designer challenge the first week of December for this meeting. Get that first week of December booked.

After many requests, we are now automatically adding the Hostess Incentive Verona watch to each order that has $350 in Party Retail sales. You will see the watch on the receipt page after submitting the order in the box titled Hostess Incentive. From now on, you will not be required to enter HI items on your order. As long as your order qualifies for the promotion, the item will automatically be added to the order on submission.
